Welcome to my on-line home. This is my personal website, designed and edited entirely by me. This is my way of staying connected both to those whom I know and with those I have not yet met who may share similar interests. In my professional life, I am concerned mostly with design, programming and teaching. I offer here on this site my comments and information related to these topic areas. My hope is that my pages on branding, presentation tips, etc. will be both useful and serve as the starting point as you begin your search for deeper information on these topics. The resource page contains links to books and other resources to which I often refer.

Why a personal website?

I began doing public presentations on the issue of marketing, and self branding. Mr. Prasad K.V, Mr. Dharmendra V and Shankar T.V was my inspiration and I give them full credits for this. That has been under way. One of the things I always told people is that they have got to get their own website. I don't care if you have your own consulting business, run a 5-person design shop, or are a 57-year old director in a 22,000 person IT firm, you've got to have a place on the web to let people know who you are. A personal website is expected. It does not have to be fancy (better if it is not, actually). But it does have to tell your own unique story. Everyone is special. Everyone is different. The key — perhaps the main key — is finding what is different about yourself and letting the world know about your difference and what you can contribute. A website is one way you can communicate your difference, grow your network, and make connections across this planet.
